Exploring the Leopard Macbook

After a coulple, of days having this laptop.Already played Warcraft on BattleNet using my Windows partition. Xp installer was provided by a friend, MCP Joeyboy.

Though yesterday, i notice some glitch in this system. I lose my Macintosh HD icon in my desktop and in the Finder. This has been reported already to Apple and a bug id was created. But after some CLi and some Xcode installation . I fixed it but after doing consecutive reboots it was gone again.

Just today , i did a research and has used Applescript to do some lines of codes. Its all well now.

Also the stacks i get to know how to masterfully do it. This link helped me a lot.


Its cool actually . I will try to dump my own screenshot.and the script i used to fix the bug.

My macbook is a really cool device but not perfect and i have to deal with it.
So far im enjoying doing my cli stuffs in it and use it in viewing some downloaded HD mtvs and movies.
